A divorce becomes irrevocable at the time of completion of
iddat on the basis of different modes of divorce. A divorce becomes irrevocable
on following methods;
1. Talak e Ahsan: If the divorce is followed by the modes of ahsan and observance of iddat of is completed, the divorce become irrevocable.

2. Talak e Hasan: If the divorce is followed by the modes of
Hasan the divorce become complete and irrevocable at the third pronouncement of
talak and observation of iddat is not required.
3. Talak ul Badaai: Divorce becomes effective and
irrevocable as soon as the pronouncement of the talak is completed and
observation of iddat is also not required.
4. Divorce by the court: If a decree is passed by the court to
dissolve the marriage, the divorce becomes complete and irrevocable.
5. Divorce by mutual consent: If a marriage is dissolved by mutual
consent of the both parties, the divorce becomes effective, complete and
irrevocable at the expiration of iddat.
A divorce
becomes irrevocable on above mentioned moods. Otherwise, all divorce, except
above mentioned, are revocable.
